This C&R Fully Transferable Thompson Submachine Gun offered for sale is a West Hurley Model of 1928, serial number 2840A, and was manufactured in 1986 by Auto-Ordnance in West Hurley, New York, just before the May 19, 1986 sunset on newly manufactured, transferable machine guns.

Overall, this Thompson is in very good condition, with minor scratches and wear to the finish. The weapon has a Thompson marked, pinned Cutts compensator on it, and a protected, painted aluminum West Hurley style rear sight. West Hurley rear sights have M1917 Rifle ladder inserts, which are adjustable for elevation only.

The weapon comes with one Taiwanese L-Drum (50 round drum). The Taiwanese drums are much more reliable than West Hurley or currently manufactured Kahr drums. This would be an excellent shooter gun for a beginning collector, or for someone who wants to preserve their higher condition Thompson, and have another one to use for Thompson shoots and subgun matches.
